“Put To Death The Old Self

Most Blessed Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
by the authority granted through Your divine law and by the rights You have bestowed upon me as Your child,
I claim authority over all that belongs to me: my livelihood, my income, my possessions, and every good thing entrusted to my care.

Through the merits of the Sacred Wounds of Christ,
I reclaim every right, every grace, every authority that I may have surrendered or lost,
and I ask You, O Lord, to strip the demons of all power to influence or oppress my life.

O Eternal Father, cast down the spirits of oppression who seek to rob You of glory
by afflicting Your creatures. Reveal Your majesty over them,
and show forth Your generosity to me, though I am unworthy,
by granting what I now humbly seek in Your name.

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I bind every demon of oppression.
By the power of His Most Precious Blood,
by the humility of His suffering,
by the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Virgin Most Powerful,
of Saint Michael the Archangel,
of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul,
and of all the saints of heaven,
I command you, spirits of oppression, depart at once.

Go to the foot of the Holy Cross to receive your sentence,
in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
