“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, the King of Kings, who has chosen us before the foundation of the world, that we should walk in love and truth. In Christ, we are sealed with the Spirit of promise, no longer strangers, but heirs of the eternal covenant. Let us put on the full armor of God—belted in truth, shielded by faith, crowned in salvation—that we may stand in this age against darkness. As children of light, let our steps be in grace, our speech seasoned with truth, and our hearts like steel.
