Luke 6; Luke 11-14 “Jesus’ Teaching”...We are in a time of war I feel... and in a time of war there is no turning the other cheek..there are moments when conflict is unavoidable or necessary

of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8:

This passage, written by King Solomon, reflects on the natural ebb and flow of life. It describes how life is full of contrasts—times of joy and sorrow, construction and destruction, beginnings and endings. The idea is that all events, even war and peace, have their proper time within God's sovereign plan.

  • War and peace are not random; they occur within the scope of God’s larger plan for humanity. Even when conflict seems destructive or peace appears unattainable, these moments are still under God’s authority.
  • God’s timing is perfect, even when it may seem hard to comprehend. There are seasons of life that are turbulent and filled with strife, yet those too have a purpose in God’s redemptive plan. War often comes when evil must be confronted, or when societal structures need to be shaken.
