Psalm 46:10 reads, "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
This verse is a powerful reminder for believers to find peace and trust in God, especially when facing difficult times.
In the New Testament, Jesus also encourages us to find rest in Him. In Matthew 11:28-30, He says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
In Philippians 4:6-7, the Apostle Paul exhorts us to trust in the Lord and experience His peace: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
These passages from the King James Version of the Bible remind us that God is in control and that we can find peace and rest in Him when we trust and surrender to His will. We are encouraged to let go of our worries and fears, knowing that He will guide us and fill the void in our hearts.
